The Strain
The Strain is a high concept thriller that tells the story of Dr. Ephraim Goodweather, the head of the CDC Canary Team in New York City. He and his team are called upon to investigate a viral outbreak with hallmarks of an ancient and evil strain of vampirism. As the strain spreads, Eph and his team wage war for the fate of humanity itself.

I loved,loved seasons 1 and 2. Seasons 3 and 4 was ok. Sad when the show ended!
A fun swevies with fun characters!
Started out strong, then got so INCREDIBLY stupid that I couldn't even finish it.
Starts off strong, then gets REALLY stupid. Like, forehead-slapping stupid. I couldn't even finish it.
There's no denying the importance of The Walking Dead in establishing continuing stories as a form for television horror, but this kind of story is much more to my liking.
