I watched this when I had Shudder on Prime - I loved the two movies and I felt the Creep Tapes were a perfect addition to the films. They built upon the character and added layers of storytelling and character building while still being delightfully creepy. Mark Duplass really shines in this and I hope there's a second season for me to devour soon.
Some episodes were slow. Loved the last two. lots of growth in the character Kyle
The way that I cannot even explain how brilliant Mark Duplass is. His chameleon like ability to shapeshift within each episode, while still being the weird fucking little creep that he actually is. Girl who taught you these things? I need your secrets right now. In my opinion, these are just as good as both of the movies, the story that is packed in such a little amount of time, the character development that is rushed upon us in 20 minutes? Hello?????? The way Stanley Kubrick wishes.
