Stan Against Evil
172 demons have been unleashed on the residents of Williard's Mill as payback for a massive witch-burning hundreds of years ago. Evie, the lucky new sheriff in town, needs to work with the former sheriff, Stan Miller, who was forced to retire after an altercation at his wife's funeral. The only way both Evie and Stan can save the town is to find and destroy every one of the demons. The key to saving the town lies in decoding a century's old book, found in Stan's recently deceased wife's sewing room.

Absolutely amazing series. Each episode is so much fun and the actors are great in their roles. Due to the concept, this could have easily been a 100 episode show. Only negative is that IFC didn't allow them the time to wrap up the series with a proper conclusion. Not holding out hopes, but still praying someone brings this back to give it the ending it deserves.
This show is more of a comedy than horror and it is pretty good for what it is. I laughed a few times throughout the series and enjoyed it overall.
More seasons please ASAP, it was great forgetting life's troubles and realizing someone else (Stan) has bigger issues, after all I don't have demons coming after me, well not yet anyway, totally enjoyed this so far, more episodes please
These aholes made a good show about about of aholes aholing around
Yes, "Stan Against Evil" is an obvious tribute to "Ash and The Evil Dead. " By accepting that, we can then move on to embrace the endearing characters, low-budget aesthetic, corny writing and plots, and enjoy a show that knows exactly what it is without pretending to be anything but a nod to "Ash. " With John C. McGinley, one of the greatest Gen X character actors, at the helm, conjuring his best Dirty Harry, this show is a rare treat in seeing this side him. Those dragging the rating down and calling the show "trash" or "garbage" should take it less serious and drop the spoiled snoot routine. A lot more people find this show fun and refreshing from the really, truly "bad" content that exists. I give this 5 skulls for just being a fun ride. Cheers!
