In an industrial seaside town, random people begin to spontaneously combust for no reason. Suicide? Murder? Supernatural phenomenon? Soon, fiery letters start to appear on the city walls: MOLOCH. A young ambitious journalist and a brilliant psychiatrist investigate the mystery, running the risk of getting burned themselves.
Suspenseful, poignant and smart. A really good well-contained story with an ending that held up if you enjoyed the journey there. It felt slow in places and the MC falls victim to the classic French Femme Fatale persona, but even so was played beautifully. Well-worth the watch on a rainy day.
To the petty keyboard warriors who down rated this series, I feel pity for your uneducated, close mindedness. Oh boo hoo it was in french, get over it. I have seen many movies, series, shorts, etc in my life time and more times than not, non-american/english are far more thought provoking, philosophical, slow burning, well casted and filmed in beautiful style. It is scary in it's own way and it is not boring. If you can't keep up, stick to slasher flicks that are under 90 minutes.
not only is this show is not scary & boring but it doesn't have the english version! this is just nothing but a mystery series with slow & weird acting! 👎😠
Very Slow Burn but well worth it!!
