A couple is shaken to the core when their eight-year-old son meets a creepy and ominous imaginary friend. A SHUDDER ORIGINAL.

Nothing going on here, no reason to watch it, very bad, very unoriginal, looks like half an idea. The first like 30 minutes appeared to set the scene for something, but it's pure gargbage, it's get worse by the minute.
Give this movie a break. It tried, in a genre that you don't see that much anymore, the imaginary nut job.
Definitely worth the watchi honestly hate the ending though
pretty predictable, not really scary but i did enjoy it
Pretty rare for me to root for the kid to get hurt. But that little dingus had all the awareness of a pet rock and the courtesy of a bedbug. Either make the monster evil and the kid innocent but able to grow wise to their evil, or make the kid an outright sociopath and the monster a metaphor for their personality. Don't do both.
