It's like The Ritual, but with a smattering of Wizard of Oz references that they're too afraid to do anything fun with. The "descent into madness" vibe is cool and is decently accomplished, but there's not much to write home about. Huge potential to make a crazy, Lovecraftian, Wizard of Oz movie, but they play it straight the whole time and it ends up being kind of a slog.
Movie was very confusing and was lost most of the time. The ending was also pretty meh.
I didn't like it. 1½ skulls.
A extremely odd movie. I liked the very end of the film with the plot twist and I liked the Wizard of Oz references.
