Riveting. I am a casual viewer of folk horror, only seeking it out when there is another cinematic element that interests me, but this well-crafted and deftly woven tour through this storytelling mode may have made me a fan. I have added so many films to my watchlist during the viewing of this doc, I can't even count them all.
glad they finally put this back on here !
Fabulous, Doesn't get better than this. Invaluable amount of films and information expanding on the concept of 'folk horror'.
When the description says this will include clips from TWO HUNDRED FILMS, this ain’t a documentary it’s a college course, buckle up
Nice to see Deliverance recognized albeit briefly but the omission of The Blair Witch Project which brought modern Folk Horror to the masses (and blew open the doors for countless filmmakers) is a sin.
