good if you like this tyoe of genre.
A grimy, poorly acted, cliched historical horror. Zero attention to detail in costumes, behavior, and manner of speech. The costumes try too hard to resemble Game of Thrones rather than 16th-century England, or wherever this is meant to take place. And, oh yes, you can’t have a witchcraft film without the black clad, crucifix wearing, misogynist judge/official/priest. The Burning Times were an extremely complex time in European history, and are worthy of a true horror film. This isn’t it. All I managed to learn is 16th-century feminists shaved their heads and vague Religious Man Bad. Do better.
Boring and slow
Meh. Bog standard witch trials movie. Tried to add a twist with time travel but still just meh.
it's an interesting conceit, but please can we start lighting films properly again. half of it takes place in the night and i could barely see anything. If you're going to have heavy, frequent scores, you can light the film. Film studios will not take you out back and shoot you like a lame horse.
