Pretty powerful if you’re in the right mindset. Definitely more Poe horror than any other type.

This is a revenge thriller that takes us into the complexities of assault and consent. The narrative explores associations and triggers related to post-assault trauma. The movie does not follow a linear path from assault to revenge. Instead, it delves into the psychological aftermath of an assault, emphasizing greatly the emotional complexities of consent and violation along with victim blaming culture. I think this movie confronts sexual assault head-on, weaving a disorienting narrative that begs us to question where our morals stand on trauma, revenge, and victimization.

It was okay, I think it was just different to how I thought it would be for some reason.

Meh. Would have been ok without all the artsy fartsy close up crap. Not toooo bad if you’re bored. Nothing spectacular.
