super strange and interesting. Some parts made me laugh and others made me cringe. Not what I expected but it's not bad!
Watchable but wouldn't recommend. The tone was all over the place. It couldn't decide if it was grim folk horror or a creature feature. Folklore was explained too much. Too many villains. It could have been cool but it kept undercutting itself with action beats and exposition. 7/10 concept, 5/10 execution. Supremely unlikable male lead.
Great folk horror!
it's like these characters did know they were in a horror movie and used that knowledge to make the dumbest possible move at every possible step. also of all the possible places this movie could have ended, it did end in the least expected way.
Love the puppetwork!
