Spotty acting and overly complex machinations bog down an exuberantly gory superhero stomp. Has heart but never fully dives in. Commits the cardinal sin of sequel-baiting without a final film greenlit (still). If the third one actually gets made it might change how I view this middle installment but if it remains in production hell then I'm going to pretend the first film was the only one.

Feels more like a violent action film than horror, but I have to admit it's engaging and I enjoyed watching it.
Not as good as the first. Action was amazing but some of the acting made me cringe. Definitely looking forward to a third film
