In the dead of winter, Catherine, a talented musician, travels to her aunt's remote cottage to work on new material in solitude. Once there, she and local photographer Grace spark up a budding romance while visiting an abandoned farmhouse with a disturbing past. Soon after, strange and seemingly supernatural occurrences begin to manifest at the cottage, escalating each night and dangerously eroding Catherine's sense of reality. A SHUDDER ORIGINAL.

Literally nothing happens - self indulgent junk
Odd, interesting, and worth the watch!
What does one say? This is not good. The lead is unwatchable with her woe-is-me tragic existence. Trudging through her days like the world is holding her back yet simultaneously waiting with bated breath for her next groundbreaking musical revelation that can only spawn from such a tortured soul. She pretends to suffer in the gloom, knowing full well that this persona is the only thing that will bring her attention from the likes of 12 year old Hot Topic girls. Acting. . . flat. Script. . . dismal. Plot. . . none. Atmosphere. . wanting. Anyways, I'm gonna go watch Elvira now.
I felt like this was a movie that was pregnant and near giving birth to something good a few times but could never manage it and thus ended up with very little. I like a slow-burn usually, but this never seemed to get to a place of release or climax. Just faded in and out.
