This really felt like a movie of two halves. The first half is pretty typical '70s Euro sleaze - lots of nudity for highly dubious reasons (hmm, just got home, better take a shower!) and a couple of pretty tame murders. However the second half improves as the story starts to come together and become more of a typical 'whodunnit'. There's some quite nice camera work and sound design too. Ultimately these movies aren't going to be for everyone but if you enjoy the genre this is one of the better ones on Shudder.
gorgeous story that made me think of women's oppression and freedom. Soundtrack is amazing.
She sure knows how to pick 'em!
Another good giallo I can only judge them all similarly, love edwige fenech so it was a cool watch.
What the hell was the point of all that? Why should I care? Has Sergio Martino ever created an actually good film? Or is it all just clumsily plotted excuses to get European women naked for us? I suspect these are not the kind of questions we were meant to be left with at the end of this film. But unfortunately that's all I've got. This is the third of his films I've watched and all were meant to be classics; I won't be watching another one.
