The Sadness
Directed by Rob Jabbaz
When a virus spontaneously mutates, it gives rise to a mind-altering plague. The streets erupt into violence and depravity, as those infected are driven to enact the most cruel and ghastly things they can think of. Murder, torture, rape and mutilation are only the beginning. A young couple is pushed to the limits of sanity as they try to reunite amid the chaos. The age of civility and order is no more. There is only "The Sadness". Note: The Sadness contains graphic and extreme violence/gore, as well as brief strobe effects in the end credits.
In this extreme horror, a young couple try to reunite amid a city ravaged by a plague that turns its victims into deranged, bloodthirsty sadists.
Cast: Regina Lei, Berant Zhu, Tzu-Chiang Wang, Apple Chen, Wei-Hua Lan

Unique take on conventional zombie films. Great movie and very Gore filled! They do a phenomenal job at creating an eerie scene of people who have succumbed to their primal urges. I recommend
Nasty. Proper nasty.
Great take on a zombie-esque type film. Was great fun to watch and right amount of crazy.

I'm going to say this movie was beautiful. By that, I mean every scene was meticulous in its execution and overall haunting vibe. The depravity on display is one thousand times more insane that most movies of a viral infection and it doesn't disappoint on the goriness front too. A superb movie overall. I see some talking in the reviews here saying it could have had "more story" and I can't say I disagree. But, given the propensity for horror films to be light on story (for the most part) it adds to the overall "I have so many questions" factor without it being an overwhelming puzzle. It's got just enough of the story there to guide you down the path and by the end, you can see why certain people became deranged in their "own very special" ways. Overall, this movie slaps ad I couldn't recommend this movie enough!
