I was really surprised Al Pacino and Ashley Greene decided to do a film like this. I had kind of high expectations of it to be honest only to be severely disappointed by it. Whoever was in charge of lighting, camera and decorating the set should be fired. 95% of the film it looks like the actors have blaring white light coming from straight above them and it looks terrible. No mood lighting what so ever. It’s also suppose to be set in 1928 but the decor is confusing! There is modern decor and items from all over the century! I feel Ashley and Al did some great acting but where let down by the camera work and lighting mainly. I laughed so hard when I saw the nuns uniform. Clearly made from synthetic materials.
I’d rate it 0 skulls if I could. It’s like a throw together of the greatest hits from the genre, but poorly acted, directed, shot, lit and scored.
