Like Aliens but no triller or horror parts. Fine if you enjoy military running around shooting creatures. Better budget than you would think.
Not awful, but the Neil Marshall of Dog Soldiers, The Descent etc seems long gone…. . Whereas Doomsday wore its influences in its sleeve with style, wit and its tongue mildly in cheek, The Lair is lazy, plodding and eminently missable. Between this and Hellboy, Marshall needs to get his mojo back, and quickly
Fair game, goofy moments reminds you of a higher quality version of the 2000’s era sci fi channel movies. Thought it was solid work. Gore was practical effects so it made it much better than the cgi goof troop I’m used too
Fun monster movie.
