fast paced, good action, almost HP Lovecraft.
Fun! Worth a watch.
An alright set-up that quickly introduces you to a tentacled monster and amphibious body horror transformations realised with some very impressive effects. Underseen 80’s creature feature that’s well worth a watch for fans of the genre.
I can't believe I haven't seen this until now, it's fantastic.
As one of the few remaining fans of the Max Headroom show, I was happy to see Amanda Payes given a feature role. And such a role ti turns out to be. If you suspect something fishy, you may be right. A silly horror/sci-fi story, but well-paced with a likable cast. Five writers are credited, which is often an iffy proposition. But one of them is Joseph Stefano, of Psycho fame. And we get a prime cut of Rod Stieger ham. Cool little creatures.
