Not Bad.
First one was way better. This just didn't do it for me.
A story about an autistic girl who uses her special interest to banish a centuries-old trickster demon. This is a heartfelt slasher, pretty well-acted, with some fun body horror and decent-to-okay practical effects. If it had come out in the 80s it would probably be well-remembered, or at least have a cult following. I'm not really feeling the redesign of the Jester, but if you liked the first one then you'll definitely like this one. I sure did!
Yes better than the first, but it doesn't seem like it's even the same character.
The Jester is not an Art the clown rip-off. He has motivations for his killings unlike Art. The movie isnt perfect by any means but it is alot of fun. The story is the weakest part but still better than the Terrifier story. There is gore but nothing super over the top which is a plus for me.
