Determined to uncover paranormal proof, hotel employees Clair and Luke begin an investigation of their own. But when odd guests check in, the pair start to experience strange and alarming events that may ultimately cause them to end up mere footnotes in the hotel's long, unexplained history. I watched it twice, the second time with headphones and paying more attention to the details. There is some great charm to it with a good dynamic between the two main actors. Story could be stronger, but I thought it played out good.
Slow paced, but a really good movie. Some jump scares and some creepy scenes. Good palette cleanser from fast paced gore mashups.

It won't be for everyone, but personally, the exposition is usually my favorite part of a horror movie, so I really enjoyed it. I wish there were more movies like this, where the characters just hang out against a vaguely creepy backdrop.
