The Human Centipede
Directed by Tom Six
A demented doctor sews three people together in a sickening science experiment. During a stopover in Germany, two American girls find themselves alone in the woods after their car breaks down. Lured to the house of a deranged surgeon, they find they're going to help him realize his ultimate fantasy: to connect three people via their gastric system and create 'the human centipede.' Tom Six's debut pushed the boundaries of gore to messy new lows and was famously parodied on a very funny episode of SOUTH PARK, making it an essential modern horror film. Contains strong language, violence and gore.

The most disturbing part is the fact that someone gained inspiration for this movie from somewhere in real life and ran with it. No more gore in this than the remake of the fly and cabin in the woods. Typical stereotype horror movie where dumb women find a batshit crazy bored scientist that has nothing better to do with his time than to create a WTF mess lolol. Twisted minds make the most creative and disturbing movies for sure. I have to know where the inspiration came from for this creepy gem. I probably already know the answer since it takes place in Deutschland aka Germany. Heads up -- those with weak stomach should not eat during this movie. Those who love body horror will love this while eating their popcorn and rolling their eyes at it lololol. This is nothing compared to the 2nd one. Time for a binge watch and snacks. I haven't seen all 3 of these for a few years even though I have them on DVD.
awful film cant believe there is another two films
This movie was absolutely disturbing But for some reason really good Now I can see why this movies banned in some countries
Despite the obvious flaw of "this wouldn't actually work", this is a good horror film. I would say that the acting was pretty good, even when the script was unrealistic at times. It was gory (more in the sense of disgusting to think about), but I've seen way worse gore in slasher movies, so this isn't up there at the top of the gore list. I liked the disturbing nature of the centipede experiment, because the thought of swallowing someone else's shit is enough to gross anyone out. The storyline lacked realism in the way the victims were captured, because the female lead characters would have to be pretty damn stupid to try and look for help in a forest and then go up to a stranger's house expecting to not get turned away or taken advantage of. Equally, it was unrealistic that the surgeon didn't restrain them better or have more safeguards against them escaping. But so long as you dont take the movie seriously, it's a good film and worth a watch.
