The Exorcist III
Directed by William Peter Blatty
A cop (George C. Scott) investigates brutal murders similar to ones committed by a long-dead serial killer. But the decapitations and crucifixions couldn’t be the work of the “Gemini Killer” - or could they? After his priest is butchered in a hospital, Lt. Kinderman traces the clues to the psych ward, where a patient claims to be Damian Karras (Jason Miller), the priest who died during the final moments in THE EXORCIST. William Peter Blatty’s complex adaptation of his sequel novel, “Legion”, contains a hallway scare scene that belongs in the horror history books.

I like the original excorist better than the third excorist
It is NOT in the file!
The best one out of them all.
Just a fun watch with great acting and a solid story!
This is a great movie. George C. Scott and Brad Dourif are both excellent in their roles, and the true crime aspect of this film is fantastic. Another thing I really like about this movie is that it's actually scary; there are numerous sequences that are very unnerving, especially the confession scene. I've never been a fan of films about possession or exorcisms, and I don't find them particularly scary. The Exorcist 3 is one of the very few movies of that type that not only have good writers and actors to carry it, but also managed to creep me out
