Yes, this movie was disturbing but relies too heavily on one major plot point that cannot carry it's weight for the duration; this would have worked better as a short film. When I'm watching a horror movie, I want to at least be a little bit entertained or mystified, but The Coffee Table provided neither with an experience that felt like pure drudgery without any intrigue as the twist was revealed too early and predictably.
im torn. idk if i should want this. i either hear its great or it sucks. lol
I loved this movie. very tense, disturbing with just a touch of well placed dark humor.
holy hell i'm literally SICK from watching this movie
Disturbing and one of those movies where you will go "yup, they went there. " An absolute masterclass in anticipation, though you may know how it will end - as there is really one way - this movie will keep you dragging towards the ending in the slowest and cringiest way possible.
