This movie is dumb and fun and awesome and omg that ending and you should watch it. 8/10 fricheks
I like how this one brings the age-old demonic possession to the digital/modern world. How it feeds into the need for more followers, more attention, more likes. We are all susceptible to the draw of the adoration of the crowd; the more people who "love" us, the more we are worthy at the alter of our new God: Social Media. I do love a good "it's not over, is it?" moment too, and this film did that quite well here. Also, Kyle Gallner was the one that pulled me in to watch this film; I'm so hoping the rumors that he'll be in Smile 2 are true!
I didn't hate it as much as I thought I would. Some other viewers were suggesting that it was the better option than Late Night with the Devil, but I don't see how that could possibly be true.
Fun movie. The ending reminds me of Saw 1. A lot of cool little tidbits from other horror movies here in there. Not bad at all.
