Genuinely a close second for my favourite modern horror movie. It does a phenomenal job of setting up the deep feeling of "there is something wrong here" that just grows and grows as the autopsy progresses. I'm always on the hunt for a good haunting film but find most of them just fall into the trap of "it was actually demons!" and I was thrilled that this, while full of twists, didn't go that route. There were a couple parts I found unnecessary and I wasn't a fan of the colour compositions they used (that's just me nitpicking as an artist, though), but if you're looking for a deeply spooky story, watch this. Watch this alone. Watch this in the dark.
Jane Doe's acting was incredible.
an all around intriguing story. kept me on my toes and freaked me out.
An absolute favorite. stellar scares and performances with a great premise.
I’ve been avoiding this movie for years precisely because of how scary and dark it always seemed to me just by watching the trailer. I love a well written movie with an interesting plot that keeps you on your toes the entire time and has an unexpected ending! Evil can never fully die. 100% worth the watch!
