McConaughey is the only one who can act in this. It's pretty silly, pretty bad, and just goes around in circles. I guess it's supposed to be a black comedy. I dunno. It doesn't really lean enough into the horror or the comedy to work well at either. Some fun ideas, not executed particularly well.
Excellent. So weird. Probably the best one after II.
Great beer and popcorn flick. Always great as a conversation starter as well. Bonkers, and not at all up its own ass.
I think between 2 and 3 stars is about right. Has some redeaming features. It's mildly entertaining and funny in parts. It just starts off terrible, and then goes a bit psychotic, but feels inauthentic. Too campy to be scary, but it's kind of fun.
Pretty fun! More of a TCM2 vibe than a TCM one. scenery chewing acting all around
