Another great Giallo by Argento, the red stuff pours
Weird like most Argento movies are. The girl on the beach. . . I didn't know. I might be gay now.
The last great movie done by Dario Argento. Highly rewatchable!
Just a ton of fun. Absolutely beautiful camera work, use of scenery and color, some of the brightest reds you've ever seen with blood spatter. Story-wise, it has a lot of fun with red herrings to the point that it just discombobulates the audience and makes them enjoy the story for what it is. The music is fantastic and all of the actors are gorgeous. Doesn't need to be complicated, just a lot of fun.
Too many plot holes for me. (Is that too American of me? Pauline Kael did say every movie is a dream).
