Exceeded expectations, well put together possession movie. I enjoyed the reference to the "Shadow out of Time" the monster directly makes. It is a Lovecraft story about body swapping alien monsters known as the Great Race of Yith.
it's entertaining, thats my first prerequisite for a movie and they met that. The themes of possession could have been more detailed but i would have to say that the acting and subject matter as a whole slightly make up for it. End of the day its an entertaining watch.
Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but anything based on Lovecraft makes my macabre mind happy. Every actor and actress that endured the mind-transfer looked like they were having a ball playing essentially two roles in one film. The ending will stick with me for a while. Heather Graham needs to be in more horror!
