A fun, campy love letter to 80's flicks and a good addition to the Lovecraftian library. Suffers from some poor cinematography and some clunky pacing/writing, the special effects are very much in keeping with the style of the film and it's origins, doesn't need to be fancy and the gore is well executed (pun intended). Graham and Crampton were great and just wish they had more scenes together. Overall a very fun film well realised that could've done with some tighter post/editing, but if you're a genre fan you're going to have a lot of fun with this! Hope they all work together on more projects.
So I'm guessing this is another version of FROM BEYOND. Real good movie. I would have loved to have seen this at the theaters. Heather Graham & H. P. Lovecraft regular Barbara Crampton are terrific in this entertaining film of Cuthulu mythos.
Very predictable. Did not find it scary or funny. Would not watch again, shame as it had potential.
Heather Graham is amazing and Barbara Crampton is too! This is one of the finest Lovecraft adaptations…ever! The body possession and sex in this picture are erotic and wild! It’s not a perfect movie but the film’s sexual possession scenes and dark humor are worth multiple viewership!
Pretty good in general, and the villain/demon/antagonist was vile enough to keep it from getting too goofy with all the body-switching.
