Unable to accept the diagnosis that her daughter should be permanently institutionalized for psychiatric care, Rose flees with her child to the deserted town of Silent Hill in search for answers. It's soon clear this place is unlike anywhere she's ever been. It's smothered in fog, inhabited by strange beings and periodically overcome by a living "Darkness" that literally transforms everything it touches. Rose begins to learn the history of the eerie town and realizes that her daughter is just a pawn in a larger, terrifying game.

Not normally annoyed by kids in movies, but boy is that little girl irritating. The whining, the screeching, the smug attitude. Who would choose to adopt this child? Who would go to silent hill for her?

a true classic, love this one as an early 2000's breakout of video games to the big screen
i really enjoyed it always have . . . but i take it that rose and the little girl was dead thee entire time and the cop thats how they were in silent hill and everyone else who went up couldnt see them or all the other stuff but how did they die then speeding and crash IDK the cop said she wiped out but never showed why rose and the girl were dead??
