Not Craven's best work.

I really wanted this to fall into its so bad its good, however its just boring bad (the worst kind of bad movie). I thought FBI director Walter Skinner doing a Freddy impression could carry it home, but getting to the end is a trudge. It somehow manages to become way less interesting after the killer gets supernatural powers. Overall it's messy and not entertaining enough to justify itself. Skip this and watch Wes' next film

Ahhhh…80’s horror. I remember this when it first came out. Worth watching for early performances of Mitch Pileggi (X Files), Ted Raimi (Evil Dead etc), and Heather Langencamp (Nightmare on Elm Street).

First watch. One of the underrated potentially most practical serial killer villains ever.
