This is such a guilty pleasure film for me. It has no business being as enjoyable as it is, but with Sara Paxton, Donal Logue, Dustin Milligan, and other familiar faces, it’s hard not to be on board. It’s just bad enough to be amazing. Great actors. And the rap video at the end reminds me that Dustin Milligans humor is second to none. Solid 10/10 and will always get rewatches from me

The movie was entertaining, but the music video at the very end of the movie was pretty cool 😎

Five stars. 10 if I could. Strictly for the surprise rap video/song from the entire crew at the end of the credits. wtf was that? Omg that was awesome. Would’ve been super corny if they didn’t do such an amazing job at just make absolute fun of everything about their characters and the movie, and putting such an exaggerated mockery on all the different hip hop cliche styles used in all these types of movies for the credits, I used to think I was the only one who noticed how bad the hip hop credit scenes songs always are in horror flicks, but looks like they noticed it too lol the ll cool j nod was hilarious. That video saved the day for me and it’s wild because I never would’ve caught it if I hadn’t spilled my drink all over my floor and table, right at the very end of the movie. I was so busy complaining about the mess and trying to hurry and clean it, I don’t even catch the last few minutes of the movie. Next thing I know this epic song and video is playing. Saved the movie. Other than that, it’s just your basic cheesy shark horror. But the reviewer who said the cgi was some of the best is fcking trolling yall so hard. This is clearly one of those 3D movies. But because it’s not displayed that way on shudder it just makes the shark cgi look absolutely horrible. CGI was pretty bad back then without the budget for th experts, cgi for 3D effects was God awful without the budget for the experts. But other than crappy sharks and crappy cgi, and a semi crappy script (I hate the way writers try to evoke the carefree, let’s party vibe of teens and college kids, it’s always just so obnoxious and cheesy and they’re always so slutty and so jock induced, maybe growing up in the inner city is just completely different than how life is for every Hollywood writer ever, but I never ever ever met anyone who acted like that. At least not before drinks and drugs. It’s not a great movie. Gore isn’t great. Best kill scene is the first in my opinion. But the acting is pretty decent considering the script they had to work with. You’ll recognize some of the cast. The story was original enough. The shark lore is way way way fcking off and dumb. But it’s not supposed to be serious. The ending of the credits makes it one of my favorites at the moment.
