A genetically-mutated baboon goes bananas in this sickening slice of animal horror. Professor Sorenson (PLANET OF THE APES' Roddy McDowall) is the head of a university med school who injects Shakma, a genetically mutated baboon with a drug meant to reduce its rage. Unfortunately it does the opposite, and later, while Sorenson's students are playing a live-action role playing game in the building, the ape goes bananas and starts killing people. Soon, the students have to play a new game called "Run away from Shakma." You won't soon forget this murderous monkey.

A decent creature feature. Not much gore, but thats ok. Really impressed by how much of the actual baboon they used
Cujo who? We don't want no Shakma in this household!
Silly computer game plot, killer monkey, unlikeable and stupid students for the killing, what more could you want?
Honestly, its not that bad. It kept me entertained. Give it a try!
Feel like it is an under-rated "Animal attack" movie. I feel like it sits below but near "Monkey Shine." The way the baboon rage scenes were shot really is something to see. Not an incredible film, but entertaining
