Really good movie, not a standard horror film but the situation the main character Barbara finds herself in would be horrific for anyone. Mainly because no option seems to yield a happy outcome, and so the terror comes with trying to stay alive. With that said, I'd never seen Eve Connolly in anything before and I believe I might be in love. I'm kidding of course, but this is worth a watch. Its engaging, paced well and does a good job at hiding some of its narrative foreshadowing until the right moment.

It's beautiful, it has a fun structure, and the general idea is pretty great. That said, there was absolutely no point where I felt like the film's logic made any sense whatsoever to me. A frustrating watch. Not my tea.

Not a horror movie by any standard, but a very creative, original movie. It was really enjoyable. Not even remotely a horror movie.
