Sea Fever
Directed by Neasa Hardiman
For marine biology student Siobhán, it was supposed to be a research excursion with a trawler crew fishing the West Irish seas. Out in the deep Atlantic, an unfathomable life form ensnares the boat and they become marooned with a mysterious parasite infecting their water supply. Soon the oozing force infiltrates the entire vessel and turns Siobhan's journey into a claustrophobic fight for survival.

You big, stupid jellyfish!
I really enjoyed this modern take on the sea monster genre.Great acting (for the most part) and story.
Well done, interesting idea but overall a little slow and drawn out
Expected a shlocky monster movie, but got a slow-burn thriller instead. The monster concept is really cool, but it's not a blood-thirsty apex predator; it's just a rare animal that just happens to be really dangerous to humans. The movie is caught somewhere between a monster movie, pandemic movie and dramatization of the discovery of the first ____. It's does a really good job of realistically portraying an interaction between humans and the creature (if the creature actually existed). But, unfortunately, the movie feels kind of muted.
this entire movie along with the actors are both slow and terrible!
