has good ideas but they are buried under a bunch of nothing happening
This movie captures the insidious slow decline of the mind, the generational and genetic inheritance of mental illness, and the devastation that inevitably affects even the closest of family members. This movie is a dark and brooding slow burn, perfectly capturing the slow and meandering descent into mental illness. Some people might find the ending anti-climatic, but the end is irrelevant. Extremely boring
