Sator

I have no intelligible idea what this film thought it was accomplishing. When there's literally no story or message in a slow burning film it's a complete waste of time. Oddity, Lake Mungo, Bagman, and Wakewood are all perfect examples of really good slow burning movies. And why? Because they each had a STORY that was impeccable. You can't get close to putting this picture in the same sentence as those films. Just about everything, about this one was awful. Firstly, whoever did the lighting for this film should be hung from the the nearest tree in those woods. Wayyyyyyyytoo dark for wayyyyyy too long. Nothing comes together in this film. Because there's nothing TO put together. It's amazing how much a script means to a movie. . . .
Having read the synopsis after reading the previous reviews, I liked it, great atmosphere, lovely cinematography, story was interesting. But if I hadn't read the synoposis (and I often don't) I wouldn't have had any idea what was going on.
Very dark and mysterious it had plenty of story but I think the synopsis is best way to understand what it's about kind of slow but I appreciate the creepy parts.
Dark and mysterious, synopsis is only way to understand the point of the movie for me it's just ok.
Most godawful boring thing I’ve ever watched. Makes no sense.
