Found it very boring unfortunately couldn’t concentrate on it or watch the whole film. Paranormal isn’t my usual gig though

was expecting a shit movie by the title alone. surprisingly i loved it.
An absolute gem of a movie and delightfully spooky! If you like ghost stories with a flavor of exorcism and satanic rituals, this is a great movie for you. I personally love a good scare and well crafted jump scares, and this movie got me a few times. It's very creepy and atmospheric and the acting is great. There was a minute at the end where I felt the writing was falling apart, but it brought itself back together very quickly. I feel Satan's Slaves makes excellent use of it's set and character dynamics, all the rooms become very recognizable to each character, and you really get a good sense of the layout. This adds a lot to how it crafts it's tension and scares, and it does a very good job isolating the characters without the movie feeling cramped. This movie crafts it's scares and ghosts as well as many of the Asian Horror greats like Ju-On, Ringu, Tale of Two sisters, etc. and absolutely deserves more attention.
