The most visually impressive movie ever
French noir horror/thriller that looks and feels like a 70's Bond flick on Datura. Gory, nasty, trippy and completely bonkers. I loved every second of this Shudder hidden gem.
Confusing, i didn't enjoy this at all.
I get what they were trying to achieve here-it was very redolent of Mario Bava's Danger Diabolik and less successfully a 60s giallo. But I really didn't enjoy this. I do actually like a lot of style over substance films but this really misses the mark, it's just not as good as the films it is referencing.
Very pretty and visually interesting. Muddy and confusing story. Made me want to rewatch Danger: Diabolik
