I actually enjoyed it. Yes, most of the acting with the exception of the lead was horrible but she really carried the movie. I did not understand the accent if she was raised in the US. Also the creature and the final reveal were not at all alike. Regardless, it kept my interest.
Was really surprised and enjoyed it a lot .
The lead never has a scene that's acted with another person. All the dialogue other than hers is ADR delivered via phones, intercoms, audio flashbacks, etc. , and it's all written, delivered, and mixed really badly. The story is patchy at best, and the film never establishes a sense of place for its confusing house/grounds setting. So, no believable interplay, no compelling story, and no atmosphere. In a horror film. This is 90 minutes and feels like hours.
Meh. Unlikeable characters and obvious storylines.
What just happened‽ I have no idea what I just watched someone explain me this!
