There were good ideas here but done quite badly. The film is boring, nothing engages you. The end tried to make for it but it's a case of too little, too late.
Such a great movie. I did not see any of it coming,. . . although looking back, you can see some well-done clues. Olga Kurylenko was phenomenal, considering she was basically the only character. . . or at least the only character to show their face until the end. The body horror was epic, and it had some great unnerving jump-scares. I loved the storyline. Just a great horror film from start to finish.
I was not expecting to love this one as much as I did. I was thinking haunting when I watched the trailer, then thought creature feature as I watched. But I never expected it to turn out the way it did. . . although when you go back, you do see clues to where it did wind up. Very interesting and very traumatic. Olga Kurylenko was brilliant, since most of the movie was her alone, and only blurred or covered faces and voices from the other actors. Definitely an interesting turn of events.
Probably the scariest monster ever.
Outstanding! This is one of best Shudder offerings this year. Beautiful horror movie with a great story and nice twist to wrap it up. Did not expecting etc this one but really glad I watched it. Intelligent horror film.
