Outstanding! This is one of best Shudder offerings this year. Beautiful horror movie with a great story and nice twist to wrap it up. Did not expecting etc this one but really glad I watched it. Intelligent horror film.
Engaging from start to end. Climax could have been elevated to give a superior finish but opportunity seemed to be missed. .
great movie till the end. .
Just a weird movie being weird for no good reason.
I feel like this movie would've benefitted immensely from removing the weirdo masked character. The plot would've been way more on point and not muddied by whatever was supposed to be going on there. That time could've been put toward more of an ending (it was ok, but didn't mean anything much more than "I'm not like my mom, see?"). Also, the twist was easily called by the first time the mom forced the bandages on her stomach, so the rest not really building on that and just revealing it in a very ham-fisted way was kinda boring. Overall ok movie but held back by needing a second draft.
