A good storyline, although the end seemed pretty rushed, more of a thriller than a horror. .
I wanted to like it, I thought the first one was pretty solid. But somewhere in the middle they started dumping in a side quest that just muddled the whole thing up and ort stopped trying to keep track of it all. Maybe I need a second viewing, I was just confused by the end. I dunno, see what you think.
What did I just watch? Somewhere along the lines, we ended up in Taiwan and then we came back to Japan and suddenly the main antagonist from movie 1 is back. Storyline was kind of all over the place, but the scares were decent enough so I guess there's that.
They tried too hard with this one. Introducing a 2nd ghost that kills people this way is fine, but the ending tried to re-write events in a contrived way. I'll still give this one 6/10.
