Oddity

When Dani is brutally murdered at the remote country house that she and her husband Ted are renovating, everyone suspects a patient from the local mental health institution, where Ted is a doctor. One of the best horror movies I've seen in quite a while. Creative, moody, unpredictable, well-acted, suspenseful and plenty of gore. Some genuinely good jump scares, too. I've already watched it twice and will probably watch it again.

Loved it. Creepy and well paced with things lurking in the dark. Slow burn. That opening scene pulls you in. The movie stays in your head.

meh, I don't really know what to say tbh. Caveat was good, this feels very forced, uninspired and it absolutely underutilizes every concept present in the movie. It's not bad, just not very good. The writing and the dialogue both feel very amateur.
