Better than I expected.
Creepy folklore story, enjoyed the darkness of this movie
In response to LucianL from 2 months ago. MASSIVE SPOILER AHEAD: The spirit of Feilke, she is the curse. The price she paid for revenge via the Pagan god Moloch. She had to pay with her children and unborn children . Bloodline on the female side. That is why her mantra is roughly translated as keep on keeping on. That is what Moloch tells her that she will be freed from on ending of suffering at the false allegations , but will come to be trapped in an other box of suffering for the price of vengeance. She gets her vengeance against those that wronged her (which is when her spirit allowed prosperity to roam the land) at the cost of her eternal soul and her offspring in servitude to Moloch. Great movie 4* rating recommended to people who like/are in the mood for folk horror slow burning movies. Not much horror/jump scares but if you think about the scenario for what it is, it is dark and unsettling.
Too slow and not very scary.
