Three out of five stars from me. A solid transgressive film that dared to push boundaries and be unapologetically controversial in its narrative. The cinematography is beautifully done and the editing is superb. I would have given this a higher rating if the story had flushed itself out a little bit more. I know a directors intention to leave the audience guessing is a choice for them to make, but it can also be a form of taking the easy way out. Not saying that is what has been done here, but I am left wanting more of the story, but not in a good way. I would like to know what happens after the final scene. Or what is the story behind the black figures in the house. I have a lot of questions. Not so many that I would not recommend this film to others, but enough to give it a less than perfect score. Overall this is a good film and I will recommend it to my circle of transgressive cinema loving friends.

Really not my thing. (And, honestly, it immediately lost one skull for the unexpected rape scene. That's enough of that. ) I'm fine with gore and violence, but it needs to have a point. It was so close to having an actual plot that would have tied everything together, but instead the attempt at plot they did inject just made it worse? It doesn't know what it's trying to be.
