A poor story arc with elements that are just thrown in and don’t make sense. Horrible editing.

I love this movie, so dark and disturbing. This one sat with me for days afterwards, in part because of how conflicted i felt about the main characters. On the one hand they are victims of a childhood filled with brutality, and on the other hand they are brutal to everyone that crosses their path. This is the epitome of "hurt people, hurt people". The acting was so good that i actually felt the familial connection between the siblings, love devoid of tenderness, but love all the same. It sits in such harsh contrast to the way they show that love, because its so devastating to the world around them. The other great thing about the film, is i actually felt like wasnt just a bystander watching mental illness unfold, no birds eye view, but front and center, feeling all the feels. You the terror, you feel the sadness, you feel it all. Overall, a welldone movie about generational violence. . . and love.
