This has two out of five for rating. One for visuals/fx. One for Nicolas Cage. The plot was goofy and it was hard to follow. I spent most of me watching it wanting it to end. I watched it twice and really wanted to see what everyone else I spoke with sees in it. It just wasn’t for me. The plot holes and confusing/dull premise was enough for me to decide it isn’t for me.
ticks every box in a horror movie for me- absolutely loved it, phenomenal acting by everyone. love a good revenge movie with weirdo creatures and jesus freaks. nic cage never fails to make a horror/thriller into a but of a comedy at times.
A genre busting horror journey of one man’s decent into hellish landscape to avenge his wife’s death. Cage brings a campy over the top portrayal of a man transformed from an everyday Joe to preternatural slayer of demonic forces. Buckle up for a quest from the Pacific Northwest to the pits of hell.
This movie is like a gory acid trip
Amazing. Start to end.
