One of the most beautiful, imaginative, and absolutely horrifying movies I've ever seen. Like an animated Hieronymus Bosch painting.
I love this movie. I hate this movie. The sheer artistry of it is amazing and the visuals are disturbing - certainly not for the faint of heart.
Enigmatic if you dont track the ideas but also strangely beautiful.
Its really hard to Review this movie because its such a unique peace of art but its so clearly not going to be enjoyed by everyone or even most people id say the visuals are grotesque and oozing in the best of ways but the narrative isnt as in your face as a traditional movie would be its kind of like a dark souls plot theres more sub text to piece together whats going on in your own head rather than a clear consice narrative and i dont believe thats necessarily a bad thing as it adds to the uniqueness of this movie the atmosphere of this movie sells it for me and id say atleast give it a watch you may not like it but i doubt youll ever forget it
i can certainly appreciate the art form and the effort that went into this, but the experience was far too bleak and oppressive for my taste.
