Saw this in the theater when it came out and it scared the hell outta me. Then it just sort of disappeared, and I didn't hear too much about it for years. I always wondered why it didn't garner more attention as the effect of it never left me. Seeing it now, I'd say it's a bit overlong for the concept, and the script could have been trimmed down to make it more concise and believable. That said, it's still a banger.
an incredibly dark, depressing, and viscerally-disturbing movie.
Legendary Classic, way ahead of its time.
Seen it several times. Still holds up all these years later. It’s a great movie. If you haven’t seen it yet you definitely should. I used to rent this from video stores on VHS before they all closed down. 💔
Peak. Simple as.
