A pile of crap. . . . . don't waste your time, especially around the holidays!

The last film I watched/reviewed was Christmas Presence,& I made no bones about how monumentally disappointing the experience was😑 I ended that review,as I do so frequently, with the heartfelt wish that the next one would restore my faith in the genre. Well yippee-kye-aye motherfuckas, it did! Though another weak crimbo title which didn't fill me with too much hope,I REALLY enjoyed this one as it delivered far more than I expected. Just a sweet film with engaging characters & performances, decent violence where required, & (briefly) the smoking man from the X-Files,the redhead from Ginger Snaps,& Justin Long having a super time as the baddie πŸ˜€ Definitely going on the Xmas Horror yearly revisit listπŸŽ„:skull_and_crossbones:οΈπŸ‘

Everybody gay

I like this film because the characters are great, and Justin Long is fantastic in this! The angel killer gives me heavy Ghostface vibes, which I can easily get behind. I also quite enjoy the idea that gayness sort of runs in Winnie's family. I hadn't picked up on that the first time I watched this, but it's kind of neat and funny. In that regard, it's very nice to see that the unnecessary homophobic reviews from last year have been removed. Reading those killed the hype of the movie for me before. So, props to whoever did that! It's appreciated. Happy Holidays to everyone :3
