Technically competent with a mind-numbingly terrible script. I knew I was in trouble when the first ten min of the film was just ham-fisted exposition dialogue but sadly, the movie just kept getting worse from there. The film seems to feel like vaguely riffing on It's a Wonderful Life (easily the best Christmas Movie and movie of all time) is enough and absolutely sprints away from anything heartfelt, character continuity, and just being entertaining. . . like the LEAST you could be is schlocky fun but no, this one's too far up its own borrowed Christmas tree to even bother. Cool costume, cute title, hard pass.
The English subtitles are out of sync so immediately loses a skull for that. Not a bad slasher though despite its relatively short runtime, still felt a bit too long and dragged on a bit. But still this was decent enough I just doubt I would watch it again.
Thought this was fun.
Good casting + a lame screenplay + poor direction = a trash film
