it was fun but Russel's scar makeup ruined the entire movie. I understand it was low budget, but they could have done better than a Walmart $2 Halloween face scar kit.

Worth a watch rounds out the movies well and comes to a conclusion that’s enjoyable not so much of the scares but still a fun watch

at this point hell house is the same as most other horror franchises where the investment is in the villains development over several movies rather than the interest of each movie individually. the budget seemed higher than 2 and the avting was much better but atleast for the first half the cuts didnt really make any sense and lost the narrative of what ever kind of film was veing produced inside the movie. the finaly was grand and i got stoked as soon as i saw the white room. if youre invested from the first 2 its a must watch but the edge over other found footage movies in number 1 is vompletely gone.

Quite a good movie, but I'm giving five stars for the trilogy as a whole. Hell House had a story to tell, and the movies between them told it well. That's a rare thing these days.
