Directed by Larry Fessenden
A grief-stricken alcoholic falls hard for a seductive woman who may be a vampire in the film that put cult indie horror director Larry Fessenden (WENDIGO, THE LAST WINTER) on the map. After his father dies and his girlfriend leaves him, Sam (Fessenden) hits up a Halloween party, where he meets the beautiful Anna. But as their relationship gets more intense, Sam realizes she may be not quite human. But is that a problem? Fessenden’s innovative low-budget horror paved the way for the directors of films like V/H/S and other low-fi fright films of today.

Great indie historical slice of pre internet grit and grime laden New York. The low budget film making just adds to this tone Plot moved along at a better clip than expected. Those who don't appreciate this sort of thing will hate it, but I like the world it shows and the characters in it.
Love the hair and the style on the woman Anne . Not everyday you get to see a romance between a man and a beautiful mysterious vampire before the man is drained of all sanity . 5 skulls
Watched this during a sick day. . . it was a fittingly pretty sick movie.
Terrific semi-genre movie shot in a disarming and effective low-budget style. It's as much not a vampire movie as it is a vampire movie. Shocked I hadn't heard of it before, definitely recommend.
Slow, voracious, and sensual. A snapshot of NYC through the lense of a vampire story. Doesn't feel like a movie, but moments of actual time in an actual life.
