Mexican horror is outstanding this movie along with when evil lurks and terrified prove it.
A solid slasher flick with some great effects and a cool original villain
that was definitely 80s cheese, but of the best kind. speaking as a genre fan: this is an absolutely top-tier supernatural slasher for that era. solid unique plot with good pacing, a high body count, and some nice practical effects.
So many late 80s/early 90s slasher bring nothing really new to the table, but this offers some uniqueness in the sea of garbage. It is far from perfect but worth the watch if not just for the cool setting and breakfast club esc protagonists.
