Highly implausible and annoying. I with I could have just ‘gone with it’ but it was too much of a leap for me. Her family and friends would 100% know. Lol. 😂

Not at all a bad movie but at the same time it's not perfect. Some of the acting was off regarding the reactions of some of the characters. Worth the watch but don't expect greatness.

Another movie hyped to be another shocking/visceral experience that in the end was just *ok*. I actually stopped about 2/3 of the way through because i was kind of bored and assumed i knew what was going to happen. Was I expecting "The Substance"? Not really. I will admit I was expecting something as unpleasant as The Sadness (i really have no interest in watching that again, just so dark and unhappy - i want my horror to have a bit of humour to it, The Sadness - not unironically i suppose - had none), which i would have welcomed, but it was just, well, "meh". Maybe I'll finish it in a few days.

Why does Angie look 40? Her friends are not far behind. Terrible casting. The Chinese accents also go from 100 to 0 depending on the scene. Not well thought out.
