I’m watching 31 horror movies this October and Good Madame is the best I’ve seen so far (movie 14 or 31). I loved the look into South African culture, the blend of English and Xhosa, the out-of-nowhere scares. Incredible acting, cinematography, and sound design.
A slow and steady burn leading up to a big climax, leaves you with some lasting thoughts to reflect on.
Very Powerful.
If it makes you uneasy, that’s the point. Cathartic ending. Leaves a bit unanswered, but otherwise a good watch.
Absolutely stellar. I love the slow build and was really happy to see it go (and end!) how I hoped it would. The fact that there is an actor named Charlie Bowowski is a cherry on top.
